Practice Notes:
New Prairie practices will start at 5:30 CST for the next two weeks due to swim lessons. NP parents and athletes should use Door S1.
If you arrive at Penn and the gallery door is locked, please feel free to get my attention on deck to let me know.
Penn, NP, and some KCC Splash Group’s practices for the month of May will be 75 minutes long. Fins Group practices will last 1 hour and 45 minutes for the next 3 weeks. Elite Group practices will now last 2 hours and 15 minutes. Friday evening practices, when offered, will continue to be 90 minutes long for both Fins and Elite Groups.
No practice at Penn on Friday due to the dual meet against Concord
Summer Schedule
We have been fielding several questions on what our practice schedule would look like once school ends. We have tentatively arranged 3 days of long course pool time each week starting on June 9th.
Practices at Knollwood will continue to be the same structure as they are now.
Practices at New Prairie will be moving all of their workouts to the morning starting June 2. Coach Ashley and I have made this decision in an attempt to increase the small turnouts we have had over the last several seasons.
Since we have limited long course pool time we will be dividing up our groups and which athletes from those groups will be attending. More details will be coming next week as we finalize how many lanes we have each day.

Spring and Summer Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit
This is our tentative meet schedule for the spring and summer. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.
Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.
Some meets will be marked with an * and those will require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
