Practice Notes:
No evening practice at Penn on Friday due to the homecoming football game.
New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. We have been asked by the school administration to have our families and athletes not arrive at the school prior to 4:45 CST.
HOT Maple City Classic/NASA Fall Invite
The deadline to commit to these meets is tonight September 21. The HOT meet is just for our Elite swimmers and we will only be swimming the 1650 Friday evening. I have sent an email to their meet director to make sure they will be able to accommodate a large group for that event. We are waiting on their response. The NASA meet is for our Fins and Splash groups.
Fall and Winter Registration
All athletes are required to re-register every fall. If you have not registered for this year yet please do so before attending any practices. Here is the link to our registration page. Once you click on that link there is an additional link with registration information. Please read through all of the information then fill out the registration form.
USA Memberships 2026

Parent Meetings
The Penn site parent meeting is tentatively scheduled for Monday September 29 at 6:00 PM. We have not yet secured space for this meeting but we are working on it. Details in next week’s email.
The NP site is scheduled for 5:30 CST on Monday October 6 on the pool deck.
We are still coordinating the details for the KCC meeting to make it as convenient as possible for the majority of our membership.
Swim A Thon Saturday October 18
Our annual Swim-A-Thon fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday October 18 at Penn High School. Everyone should have received an introductory email with instructions on how to set up your account. I will be following up this week with emails to the families who haven’t set up their accounts yet. Thank you to the families that have already started!
Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit
This is our meet schedule for the fall and winter. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.
Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.
Meets marked with an * require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
