Practice Notes:

New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. We have been asked by the school administration to have our families and athletes not arrive at the school prior to 4:45 CST.

No practice Friday or Saturday at any of our sites due to the meets this weekend.

HOT Maple City Classic/Laporte High School/Oct. 10

Friday

Warm-ups 5:00-5:50* CST – our athletes should be on deck by 4:45 CST

Meet Starts 6:00 CST

* Only the meet start times were listed in the meet letter. The warm-up times were not. I am posting the times I am assuming the warm-ups will be. I have an email out to their staff and if anything changes I will let our athletes know.

NASA Fall Invite/Northridge High School/Oct. 10-12

Here is a link to our entry as of this morning. We are still arranging coverage for Friday evening. I will be the primary coach on deck for both morning sessions and Coach Lexi (574-250-8342) will be the primary coach on deck for the afternoon sessions. If you are running late or will be unable to make it please text the appropriate coach. For Friday you can text me and I will let the coach who ends up covering know. Here are the pertinent times for this weekend’s meet.

Friday (events #1-#8)

Deck access 4:00 – our athletes should arrive at the school by 4:00

Warm-ups 4:15-5:15

Meet Starts 5:30

Saturday and Sunday AM (11& Overs)

Doors Open 7:30 – our athletes should arrive at the school by 7:30

Warm-up 7:45-8:45

Meet Starts 9:00

Saturday and Sunday PM (10 & Unders)

Warm-ups 12:30-1:20 – our athletes should be on deck by 12:15

WAC Monster Splash/Warsaw Community High School/Oct.25

The meet information has not yet been posted. The commitment section has been opened again and will remain open until the information becomes available.

CON Skypoint Invite/Elkhart Aquatics/Nov. 7-9

The deadline for committing to this meet is tonight. This is a prelim/final meet for 11 and over swimmers. The expectation is if a swimmer qualifies for finals they will be attending. This usually only becomes a problem for Sunday evening. If you know you will not be swimming Sunday finals do not commit your swimmer for Sunday prelims.

Fall and Winter Registration

All athletes are required to re-register every fall. If you have not registered for this year yet please do so before attending any practices. Here is the link to our registration page. Once you click on that link there is an additional link with registration information. Please read through all of the information then fill out the registration form.

USA Memberships 2026

Parent Meetings

The NP site is scheduled for 5:30 CST on Monday October 6 on the pool deck.

We are still coordinating the details for the KCC meeting to make it as convenient as possible for the majority of our membership.

Swim A Thon Saturday October 18

Our annual Swim-A-Thon fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday October 18 at Penn High School. Everyone should have received an introductory email with instructions on how to set up your account. I will be following up this week with emails to the families who haven’t set up their accounts yet. Thank you to the families that have already started!

Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit

This is our meet schedule for the fall and winter. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.

Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.

Meets marked with an * require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
