Practice Notes:

New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. We have been asked by the school administration to have our families and athletes not arrive at the school prior to 4:45 CST.

No practice at NP on Tuesday or Thursday due to a home high school meets.

No practice at Penn on Thursday due to a home high school meet.

No practice at any site on Friday PM or Saturday AM due the ELK Rudolph Romp Invite.

Coach Jake (574-440-5789) will be the primary coach on deck on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Coach Emma (574-780-4065) of the Saturday afternoon session. I (574-276-6057) will be the coach on deck for both sessions Sunday. If you are running late or will be unable to make it, please text the appropriate coach.

Here are the pertinent times for this weekend’s meet.

Friday (Events #1-#12)

Warm Ups 4:00-5:00 – our athletes should be on deck by 3:45

Meet Starts 5:10

Saturday and Sunday AM Sessions (11 and over)

Warm Ups 7:30-8:15 – our athletes should be on deck by 7:15

Meet Starts 8:20

Saturday and Sunday PM Sessions (10 and under)

Warm Ups 12:00-12:50 – our athletes should be on deck by 11:45

Meet Starts 1:00

Spring Championship Meets

The meet locations for all but one of our season ending championship meets has been announced.

Divisionals, March 6-8, will be either at the Helen Brown Natatourium in Ft. Wayne or at Crown Point High School. Last year the Divisional assignments were posted mid January.

Senior State,March 12-15, will be at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

Age Group State, March 20-22, will be held at Carmel High School.

Speedo Sectionals, March 26-29, will be held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Marlin Night at Penn High School

We are inviting all our Fins Athletes to help time at the Penn vs. St. Joe dual meet. The meet is being held Tuesday January 13. The swimming portion of the meet begins at 6:00. Our Fins athletes will need to be on deck by 5:30 to get organized. Everyone should wear this season’s Marlins T-shirt.

Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit

This is our meet schedule for the fall and winter. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.

Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.

Meets marked with an * require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
