Practice Notes:

New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. We have been asked by the school administration to have our families and athletes not arrive at the school prior to 4:45 CST.

No practice at New Prairie on Thursday due to coach availability.

NASA Antiwave Winter Invite/Northridge High School/Dec. 12-14

You can click here to see our entry. You can also login to our website or use the SE Motion app. Coach Jake (574-440-5789) and Coach Kelly (574-276-6057) will be the coaches on deck this morning. Coach Marinna (574-339-9486) and Coach Emma (574-780-4065) will be the coaches in the afternoon. If you are running late or will be unable to make it, please call or text the appropriate coach.

Here are the pertinent times for today’s meet:

Sunday AM (11 and over)

Doors open 7:30

Warm-ups 7:45-8:45 – our athletes should be on deck by 7:30

Meet Starts 9:00

Sunday PM (10 and under)

Warm-ups 12:00-12:50 – our athletes should be on deck by 11:45

Meet Starts 1:00

Holiday Party Dec. 22

We are still working on the details but we plan on having a get together at Penn (for Penn and KCC) and at New Prairie after practice on Tuesday December 22. Both locations will be having practice in the morning due to the winter break schedule. More details are coming as we finalize our plans.

Spring Championship Meets

The meet locations for our season ending championship meets have been announced.

We were informed by Indiana Swimming late last week that we have been assigned to the Divisionals in Ft. Wayne at the Helen Brown Natatorium. This meet is taking place March 6-8.

Senior State, March 12-15, will be at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

Age Group State, March 20-22, will be held at Carmel High School.

Speedo Sectionals, March 26-29, will be held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Marlin Night at Penn High School

We are inviting all our Fins Athletes to help time at the Penn vs. St. Joe dual meet. The meet is being held Tuesday January 13. The swimming portion of the meet begins at 6:00. Our Fins athletes will need to be on deck by 5:30 to get organized. Everyone should wear this season’s Marlins T-shirt.

Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit

This is our meet schedule for the fall and winter. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.

Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.

Meets marked with an * require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
