Practice Notes:

New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. We have been asked by the school administration to have our families and athletes not arrive at the school any earlier than 9:45 CST.

No practice on Wednesday or Thursday at any site due to the Christmas holiday. No practice at KCC on Saturday

Holiday Party

The holiday party for Penn and KCC will be on Monday December 22. We will be having the party at the Bittersweet Elementary School cafeteria. We will walk the swimmers over to the school after practice. Please remember the standard for our athletes is to wear a winter coat and stocking cap when the weather is cold.The party will be from 11:00 until 12:30.

The holiday party for NP will be on Monday as well at the conclusion of their practice. For more details about the NP party reach out to Coach Ashley.

Spring Championship Meets

The meet locations for our season ending championship meets have been announced.

We were informed by Indiana Swimming that we have been assigned to the Divisionals in Ft. Wayne at the Helen Brown Natatorium. This meet is taking place March 6-8.

The meet director for Divisionals has sent an email with hotels they have been working with to get families a discount for rooms for Divisional weekend. Here is the link to his email.

Senior State, March 12-15, will be at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

Age Group State, March 20-22, will be held at Carmel High School.

Speedo Sectionals, March 26-29, will be held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Marlin Night at Penn High School

We are inviting all of our Fins Athletes to help time at the Penn vs. St. Joe dual meet. The meet is being held Tuesday January 13. The swimming portion of the meet begins at 6:00. Our Fins athletes will need to be on deck by 5:30 to get organized. Everyone should wear this season’s Marlins T-shirt.

Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit

This is our meet schedule for the fall and winter. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.

Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.

Meets marked with an * require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
