Practice Notes:

New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. We have been asked by the school administration to have our families and athletes not arrive any earlier than 4:45 CST.

No practice at New Prairie on Tuesday or Thursday due to high school meets.

IA Tim Welsh Invite/Jan. 2-4/Elkhart Aquatic Center

Here is our entry. You can also check our entry by logging into our website or app. I will be the coach on deck for all sessions today. If you are running late or will not be able to make it please send me a text, 574-276-6057. Here are the pertinent times for today’s meet.

Sunday Prelim Session (11 and over)

Doors open at 6:40

Warm-ups 7:00-7:50 – our athletes should be on deck by 6:45

Meet starts 8:00

Sunday (10 and under)

Warm-up 11:45-12:30 – our athletes should be on deck by 11:30

Meet Starts 12:45

Sunday Finals Session (11 and over)

Warm-ups 4:15-5:00 – our athletes should be on deck by 4:15

Finals start 5:10

IA Jr. Super Star/Riley HS/February 14-15

The meet information has not yet been posted. The meet commitment section will remain open this week until that information is received.

Spring Championship Meets

The meet locations for our season ending championship meets have been announced.

Divisionals, March 6-8, will be at the HPB Natatorium, Ft. Wayne.

The meet director for Divisionals has sent an email with hotels they have been working with to get families a discount for rooms for Divisional weekend. Here is the link to his email.

Senior State, March 12-15, will be at the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

Age Group State, March 20-22, will be held at Carmel High School.

Speedo Sectionals, March 26-29, will be held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Marlin Night at Penn High School

We are inviting all our Fins Athletes to help time at the Penn vs. St. Joe dual meet. The meet is being held Tuesday January 13. The swimming portion of the meet begins at 6:00. Our Fins athletes will need to be on deck by 5:30 to get organized. Everyone should wear this season’s Marlins T-shirt.

Fall and Winter Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit

This is our meet schedule for the fall and winter. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.

Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.

Meets marked with an * require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
