Coaches and Directors
Matt began coaching at MSC in 2005 as an assistant and promoted to Head AGE GROUP Coach in the Fall of 2006 and the HEAD CLUB coach in 2009. Matt also took over the Munster HS Boy/Girls Swimming & Diving teams in 2023. He also was fortunate to have had the opportunity to swim under some really good coaches, taking from them parts of training and technique that he still uses today and incorporates into MSC and MHS.
IN Age Group Coach of the Year (2008); Head Coach Team Indiana QUADS (2009), asst. IN QUADS coach (2010); coach of (6) Central Zone Individual Champions; helped Coach over (50) Individual and Relay INDIANA State Champions; over 125 Munster Swim Club Records Broken; coached (5) Olympic Trial Qualifiers (2008/2012/2016/2020); coached a National Junior TEAM Member (2009) / Junior National Individual Runner-Up / multiple Jr. and SR. National Qualifiers; Head Coach of 3 Munster Masters (small team) State Championships; coached (1) National Champion USMS 2012 and multiple USMS State Champions and State record holders.
Matt swam at Munster HS and The University of Virginia as part of (3) ACC Championship Teams. He is FATHER to Fletcher & married to Ashley. He enjoys spending time outside with his rescue pups, Rose and Althea as well as seeing live music. He enjoys grilling food and recently has gotten into the art of Cold smoking CHEESE.
Eric began coaching for MSC right out of highschool in 2018. He has had an impact in both the Silver and Gold groups along with the Senior group and Masters program. He was also fortunate enough to be twice selected for the Central Zone Multicultural meet staff.
Coaching accomplishments include: 11 top 8 state medalists. 6 top 3 state medalists. State relay runner up (team record).
1 state champion. 3 top 8 zone medalists. 2 Indiana Masters championships (small team). 1 USMS National champ. Eric still currently swims for the Munster Masters so you may catch him competing at a local masters meet.
I started with MSC in the fall/winter of 2021 and currently coach the Bronze group. I am currently a teacher in the CPS system and have been for 18 yrs. I am also a current Munster Masters athlete and have (1) daughter who swims for the club. We have 1 dog (Sonny) and a lizard (Taco) and reside in Lansing,IL
This is Coach Inge's 4th year with MSC, coaching the Bronze group. She is also leading the Bridge Lesson Program for the club. Inge is an accomplished stroke coach, instructor and competitive swimmer. She loves eating pizza and chocolate, just not together. :)
