General Swim Lesson Information

Five levels of swimming education with an experienced instructor. Our mission is to grow our club team with eager young swimmers!

All of our classes are held in the Natatorium at Warren Central High School.  Our facility provides an instructional pool, competition pool, and dive well to help our swimmers learn and become comfortable at all levels.  Enter the pool area through Door 16 on the west end of the building.  There is a parking lot on that end of the building as well.

We offer lessons on weekday evenings.  We do not offer daytime or weekend classes.  See current swim lesson schedule for days/times available.

Sessions are $60/child (cash, check, or card).

Each session is three weeks long and students attend two evenings per week for 30 minuts each (for a total of six 30 minute lessons per session).

5 levels of instruction:

Level 1: Beginner – under water, floats, kicks, streamlines

Level 2: Freestyle

Level 3: Backstroke, treading water

Level 4: Breast stroke, flip turns, diving

Level 5: Butterfly, building stamina

Students are skills tested on Day 5 of each session to determine if they are ready to move onto the next level, or if they need additional practice in their current level.  It is not uncommon to spend several sessions in the same level practicing skills that will be built on in future levels.

**Children MUST be at least 4 years old**

Registration will be available online typically one week before the session starts.  Payment is preferred at the time of registration.

Swimmers will need a swimsuit and a towel for the lesson.   Goggles are recommended as is tying back long hair. 

First time swimmers will be evaluated the first day in case of need to change levels.  If unsure what level to enroll your child in, please contact the lesson coordinator to help determine proper placement.

Additional Information:

-Make up classes depend on instuctor and space availabilty and are not guaranteed.  Please provide 24 hours notice when missing a lesson in order to schedule a make up class.

-Make ups cannot be offered for weather related cancellations.

-Payment preferred at the time of registration.

-Payments will not be refunded or transferred to another session without medical cause.

-Students registered for class but not paid who miss the first week of class with no communication to the coordinator will forfeit their spot at the end of week 1.
