Next Saturday, November 9 Evolution and Junior squads will have a clinic with ZSC Swim Mom (Foundation swimmer Julia)/Olympic Silver Medalist, Elaine Penrose. Note the time changes below.

We are looking for someone to coordinate Concessions for our Candy Cane Swim Meet on Saturday, December 7. You will get 2 volunteer credits for planning/pricing/shopping. We will help guide you. Reach out if interested.

Intention to Return Surveys are going out today in a separate email to swimmers in Foundation and Evolution 3 and 4. I'll reach out directly to Junior 4 billed swimmers. All other squads are year-round and you do not have to do anything.

Save the Date for the annual Christmas in the Village Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 30. Zionsville Swim Club will continue our tradition of walking in the parade. We are looking for a truck and trailier OR a golf cart to decorate.

ZSC Yard Signs and Magnets

We are officially launching sales of personalized yard signs tonight ($15 per sign). Yard signs can be personalized. You can put 2 first names, a first and last name, or a last name on them. They do come with a metal stake for display.

Also listed on the site are magnets ($3.25), perfect for lockers, cars, or any metal surface. Magnets are not offered with personalization.

These are a great way to support the team, and show pride for your swimmer or swimmers! The online store site will be open until TONIGHT November 3rd at 11:59pm. Payment is done secureIy on the site with a credit card. Orders will be picked up and delivered to the pool for distribution. More information to come on this!

Save the Date - Adults-Only Trivia Night

Save the Date for a fun night out during the doldrums of winter. We are switching it up this year and trying our hand at hosting a Trivia Night. It will be held Saturday, February 1 at the Golf Club of Indianapolis. We are looking for a few people to help out on this committee. So, if you prefer to get your volunteer hours in outside of a swim meet, let me know and I'll pass your name on to the event chairs.

Save the Date - Swim Clinic

Elaine Penrose is bringing her talents as a former swimmer and Olympic Silver Medalist (2008 Beijing) to Zionsville Swim Club on Saturday, November 9. She has vast experience in leading USA Swimming's Fitter and Faster Clinics in the past and will run this in a similar style. This will be for Evolution and Junior swimmers only and held across a couple of sessions. No signup is needed, just come during your squad's assigned time.

Evolution: 10:30am-12:30pm
Junior: 1:00pm-3:00pm

This will be in lieu of practice that day and we willl not be charging a fee for it since it is a practice day.

Save the Date - Christmas in the Village Holiday Parade

We will line up at Eagle Elementary around 4:15-4:30. The parade kicks off at 5:00pm. Only swimmers will walk/participate in the parade. We are in need of to decorate:

Golf cart

Squad Parent Signup

We are looking for one parent volunteer to help us plan social activities for all squads and act as Club Social Coordinator.. Also, two parent volunteers from each squad who are willing to help the social coordinator, coaches, and staff bring the ideas to fruition. We are looking at one planned activity per season (3 for the full swim year). Can supplement with treats or fun intersperced throughout the season.

Two volunteer credits will be given to active Squad Parent Volunteers.

November's Practice Fees:
- Senior squads: payment 3 of 6 for Year Round
- Junior 1/2/3, Evolution 1/2: payment 3 of 9 for Year Round
- Junior 4, Evolution 3/4 and Foundation 1/2/3: payment 2 of 2 for Season 1

USA Swimming Membership Fees for New Swimmers that didn't register on their own only
Remember, you don't have to do anything. The Team Unify system will automatically charge the credit card or bank account you have on file on the 1st of the month.
If you would like to avoid the higher credit card fees (2.95% + $.30 per transaction), please See page 18 of the 2024-2025 Information Packet for directions on changing to ACH (Bank Account) ($1.25 per transaction)
