Swim Champions Fitter and Faster Tour

I wanted to bring to your attention a great event coming to Chicago on August 29th & 30th.

The event is called the Swim Champions’ Fitter & Faster Tour. This is a great opportunity for our team members to meet 5 Olympians who have had great success in the pool and out of it.

The purpose of the Tour is to energize, motivate and inspire swimmers.  The organizers of the Fitter & Faster Tour want to give young swimmers the chance to meet their heroes and connect with some of the greatest athletes in the world who also stare at a black line day in and day out. Our swimmers will hear motivational stories, swim with the Olympians, hold real Olympic gold medals, take tons of photos and re-connect with their love of the sport. This event is being held in conjunction with World Sport/Chicago and it benefits the USA Swimming Foundation.  Christine Magnuson, Matt Grevers, Megan Jendrick and Peter Vanderkaay will be conducting 6 different sessions over the two-day clinic which will be held at UIC on August 29-30.  Teams with 25 or more participants will be able to have a group photo taken with the Olympians. On-line registration is underway It is suggested parents and athletes who are interested to register asap to ensure their choice of date and session.
