DCST Takes 4^th at Academy Invitational

            DCST finished 4^th at the Academy Invitational with only 43 swimmers.  This total made DCST the second smallest team in the meet out of a total of 8 teams. Moreover, the three teams which finished ahead of DCST had 255 swimmers (Academy), 106 swimmers (New Trier) and 183 swimmers (Fox Valley).

As a team, DCST swimmers achieved a District qualifying for the first time this season in 9 events, achieved an Area qualifying time for the first time this season in 12 events, and achieved a National qualifying time for the first time this season in 2 events.  DCST had 174 career best times out of a total of 403 individual swims for a 43% improvement rate. The 16 swimmers listed below had a better than 50% improvement rate in their individual swims.
