DCST Starts out Area Meet with 2 New National Qualifying Times

            DCST got off to a good start in the IL / MO Area Meet with 5 career best individual performances out of a total of 10 individual swims.  Lexi Olson’s 200 yard Breaststroke time was her first career national qualifying time.   The relay team of Dylan Powers, Jacob Bjork, Daniel Hein and Jack Fergus qualified for Nationals in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay.

Best individual times on Friday evening were:

Ty Ament – Dropped 0.2 seconds in his 100 yard Butterfly

Michael Carlson – Dropped 5.8 seconds in his 200 yard Backstroke

Lexi Olson – Dropped 6.2 seconds in her 200 yard Breaststroke

Paul Ruetten -  Dropped 6.6 seconds in his 200 yard IM

 Ryan Schultz – Dropped 2.4 seconds in his 200 yard Backstroke
