DCST National Championship Results – Day 1 Moon Wins National Title; Smashes National Record

        Caitlynn Moon got the YMCA National Championship meet in Indianapolis, IN started off just like she did a year ago by winning the Women’s 1500 meter Freestyle.  This year, however, she was 26.4 seconds faster than her time from a year ago, and her time broke the YMCA National Record by an amazing 19.4 seconds!  Her time broke her previous team record, and she finished 21.5 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.  This was her 5^th YMCA National Title, and the 22^nd time she has been named a National All-American in her career.  The National Championship meet continues through Friday.
