DCST Places 5th at Fox Valley Meet
The Kishwaukee YMCA / DeKalb County Swim Team (DCST) finished fifth at the Fox Valley Meet on October 11 - 12. The finish was not too bad considering the team only entered swimmers in 20 of the 102 events offered. DCST only sent our Bull Dog and National swimmers to this meet, while some of the other teams had a full complement of swimmers.
As a team, DCST had 30 lifetime best times out of 94 swims for an improvement rate of 32%. The low improvement rate was expected for only four weeks of practice. Despite it being an early season meet, the 3 swimmers listed below still had an outstanding meet with improvement rate of better than 50%.
