USA Swimming Recognizes DCST as a 2015 Bronze Medal Club

USA Swimming has released the results of their 2015 Club Excellence Program, and DCST was named a Bronze Medal winner.  The USA Swimming Club Excellence Program is a program that recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to excellence in performance.  This program strives to meet the following objectives:

• Promote the development of strong, well-rounded age group and senior swimming programs that produce elite 18 & under athletes;
• Provide recognition and resources to motivate and assist member clubs to strive for the highest ideals of athlete performance. .

Clubs ranked 1 – 20 receive the Gold Medal award, clubs ranked 21 – 100 receive the Silver Medal award, and clubs ranked 101 – 200 in the country receive the Bronze Medal award.  DCST was ranked 112^th in the country out of a total of over 2,700 register teams in the United States.  DCST was one of 9 Illinois teams to be recognized in the program.  This is the fifth time DCST has achieved this award.  The Club previously won the award in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014.
