DCST Alumni Daniel Hein Takes 3rd at NCAA Swimming Championships
On Thursday, March 23 at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championship in Indianapolis, IN, DCST Alumni Daniel Hein was part of the University of Missouri’s 400 Medley Relay which placed 3rd. Daniel lead off the relay with a personal best time of 45.99 in the 100-yard Backstroke. Daniel, a Freshman, was teamed up with 3 Seniors, Fabian Schwingenschloegl, Andrew Sansoicie and Michael Chadwick. Missouri only finished behind the University of Texas and the University of California. Texas’ winning relay time was a new NCAA and US Open Record. The meet continues Friday and Saturday. Daniel will be swimming on the 200 Medley Relay on Friday. For those wishing to watch the meet, it will be televised taped delayed on ESPNU on Wednesday, April 5 at 4 PM CST.
