Barb Wire Classic Produces Great Performances For DCST

Kishwaukee YMCA/Dekalb County Swim Team hosted ten teams for its annual Barb Wire Classic where the Big Dogs had a great performance with 56 or our 68 swimmers achieving at least one career best time!  We had 340 individual swims of which 176 were career best times for an average of 52% for the entire meet!

Congratulations to the DCST swimmers who set meet records in the following events:

Boys 13-14 100 Breast   Gage Helfrich     1:04.61

Boys 13-14 200 Breast   Gage Helfrich     2:27.86

With so many great swims, the coaching staff had a difficult time selecting only two Big Dogs of the Meet; therefore, we selected eight.  The Big Dogs of the Meet were:
