Senior Spotlight: Sophie Cork

Sophie's Favorite Memories:

The memory that will always stick with her throughout her years on the team was winning the 50 yard Breaststroke at Districts in 2018, and being able to stand at the top of the podium to see her parents looking so excited and proud. Throughout her career she has had countless memories with her peers and coaches loves all of them!

Sophie's College plan:

She plans on attending Elgin Community College for Nursing and then Transferring to an Undecided University for Anesthesiology.

Fun facts about Sophie:

• She has been swimming with the team for 14 years
• She learned how to swim at the YMCA
• She is an Eagle Scout
• She has slept under the stars in -10^o weather
• She has backpacked for two weeks in New Mexico
• She went snorkeling and caught her own lobster for dinner

For those of you who did not know, Sophie led her Eagle Scout troup in cleaning out/ reorganizing Room A (our equipment room) and the Shed for the team about a year ago. Thank you so much for helping the team and we hope to see you do great things!
