Gators in Action at FRST Early Summer Slam

The Gators were back in the water this past weekend for the first meet of the season. This was the first meet back in a long course pool (50m) since last summer. For many of our develomental swimmers, this was their first time EVER competing in a long course pool! Even so, the Gators turned in some great performances, with highlights listed below. Great job to all our swimmers and coaches!

• Arya Gokhale - 20th in boys Open 100m Butterfly
• Emme Lewallen - 40th in girls 11-12 100m Breaststroke
• Yoni Leuken - 19th in girls 9-10 100m Breaststroke
• Jacob McCoy - 6th in boys 8 and under 50m Butterfly
• Nick McCoy - 1st in boys 11-12 50m Breaststroke
• Adrian Monroe - 38th in girls 11-12 100m Backstroke
• Lila Phillips - 12th in girls 9-10 50m Butterfly
• Reagan Sullivan - 19th in girls 9-10 50m Butterfly
• Lucas Young - 20th in boys Open 200m Breaststroke

Other notes:

• Practice schedule through the end of the school year is already posted on the Calendar
• The summer practice schedule will be posted soon. Keep an eye out for potential time changes once school is out.
• There will be another Gator Swim Team Evaluation on Wednesday May 18 at 6:00pm. This is a great opportunity for athletes finishing up spring sports to jump in the water with us for the remainder of the summer. Please spread the word! Details here
