What a month the Gators had! Through 2 USA Swimming meets and 4 Summer Splash Developmental Meets, our athletes have been busy putting their talents on display. Highlights from the meets are below.

A few important notes and reminders:

• We have about 1 month remaining in the season with our last practices occurring Thursday July 27. Then we will take a break for the month of August and kick off our fall/winter short course season in early September. More details will be coming later in July with full details.
• For those wishing to order LCM 2023 Championship Team Tshirts an email will come out soon with details so keep an eye out for that as it will be a quick turnaround for orders.
• This week is the USA Swimming National Championship Meet. This meet will determine who will represent team USA in the World Championships later this year. This is one of the very fastest meets in the world and its being held at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis starting today and running through Saturday. This is a great opportunity to see in person the very best swimmers in the world including multi Olympic gold medal winners Katie Ledecky, Caleb Dressel, and Lilly King. Single tickets are as low at $10 for adults and $7 for kids and as a USA Swimming member, if you buy 10 or more tickets using promotional code “USAGROUP” tickets are only $6! • Gators will again be hosting the Kids Tri for Kids Triathlon Sunday August 27 at Freedom Springs. It’s a fun event where kids get to swim, bike, and run at Freedom Springs. This is a fundraising opportunity for Gators. We strongly encourage all athletes 14 and under to compete. We also require many volunteers to pull off the event and Gator parents and older athletes are needed to help. Details will be coming soon for volunteer spots.
