School’s out, summer is here—and Long Course season is officially underway! We’ve got a full lineup of meets and team events coming your way: outdoor meets, indoor meets, beginner-friendly meets, rollercoasters, waterparks, and yes—plenty of pizza. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable Gators summer!

Upcoming LCM Meets:

  • Jaime Miller Invitational (@ Donner): May 30th - June 1st
  • Mid-Summer Spectacular Prelim/Final (@CGAC): June 19th - June 22nd
  • Enchanted Forest Prelim/Final (@Noblesville): June 27th - June 29th
  • Senior State (@the Nat): July 17th – July 20th
  • Age Group State (@the Nat): July 25th – July 27th
  • ISI Divisionals: August 1st – August 3rd

Upcoming Developmental Summer Splash Meets

These meets are a fun and low-pressure way for new swimmers to get comfortable with the meet format. There’s no cost, no stress—just a great opportunity to dive in and give it a try. If your swimmer has never competed before, this is the perfect place to start!

Board Update:

Our Board has initiated a long-term strategic planning process to help the Greenwood Gators continue to grow and thrive—both in and out of the pool. To support this effort, we’ve engaged Tony Young from Indiana Swimming as a consultant to help guide us through key areas of development. Together, we’re focusing on ways to strengthen athlete performance and recognition, improving communication, refining dry-side administration, and deepening our sense of club community. We’ll be sharing more updates as the process unfolds in the coming months. We’re excited about the future and grateful for your support as we take these important steps forward!

FRST Early Summer Slam - Long Course Season Is Off to a Strong Start!

We kicked things off a few weeks ago at the FRST Early Summer Slam—and it was a splash hit! Our swimmers racked up tons of lifetime bests, several new divisional cuts, and 8 new state cuts. A fantastic way to launch the season!

  • Ceinwen Butts: Top Finish - 11th in the Girls 10 & U 100 Breast, 3 Lifetime Best Swims (LTBs)
  • Aberdeen Couturier: Top Finish - 30th in the Girls Open 200 Free
  • Jasmine Goyal: Top Finish - 18th in the Girls 10 & Under 50 Breast, 2 LTBs
  • Adam Geryak: Top Finish - 6th in the Boys 11-12 100 Breast, 4 LTBs and a new Divisional cut in the 100 Breast!
  • Kaylee Graves: Top Finish - 23rd in two Girls 11-12 events, 4 LTBs

  • Hadleigh Sawyer: Top Finish - 19th in the Girls 13-14 400 Free, and 4 LTBs
  • Kaylin Slagle: Top Finish - 9th in the Girls 10 & Under 100 Breast, and 6 LTBs
