Sam Stewart Head Coach

Prior to joining THT, Coach Sam has been coaching swimming since 2012 and has been the head coach for the Aquatic Club of Enid since 2013.  During that time he has produced many YMCA and USA Swimming state champions and state record holders, multiple Scholastic All-Americans, and has sent multiple swimmers to high-level meets such as Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals, US Open, and the USA Swimming Olympic Team Trials. He has placed several swimmers in the top 50 in the nation as well as in the top 40 all-time National Age Group Rankings. Coach Stewart has also coached for Enid High School since 2015, from 2015-2022 as head assistant/sprint coach and the 2022-2023 season as head coach. At Enid High School, coach Stewart helped to produce eight 6A individual state champions, numerous state runners-up, and a top 3 boys team finish at the state meet. His swimmers have garnered attention and scholarship offers from multiple NCAA Division I schools including University of Tennessee, Missouri State, University of Kentucky, Virginia Tech, University of Arkansas Little Rock, Notre Dame, Bakersfield College, San Jose State, Grand Canyon University, University of North Texas, and University of Alabama.

Coach Sam has been married to his wife Kate for 5 years and has 4 children, Hannah (4), Elizabeth (3), James (2), and Rebekah (5 months). Kate grew up in northern IL and Sam was born and raised in Oklahoma. They enjoy disc golf, pizza, and traveling.
