Coaches and Directors
Coach Dave is the Head Coach of the B.R.Ryall YMCA Age Group and High School prep Swim Team. Coach Dave has a love and passion for the sport of swimming. He started competitive swimming at the age of 7 and continued his swimming career through college at Northern Illinois University. Dave joined the B.R. Ryall family in 2000 when his children started with the team. He then began his BRRY coaching career in 2004 when Coach Jon promoted him from involved parent to assistant coach to help out with the younger swimmers. Throughout the years, he coached all levels from novice to elite athletes and had the privilege of coaching all three of his children, Brian, Erin and Danny who all swam for BRRY and went on to swim in college.
Coach Peter started swimming competitively at 5 years old. He swam for BR Ryall throughout his high school years, during which he qualified and competed at several Y Nationals. Peter also swam for the Glenbard West/South HS Co-Op team where he served as team captain and set multiple records. He then went on to swim at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Coach Peter has several years of experience in coaching. He coached across all age groups for the Ft. Atkinson Swim Team in Wisconsin and taught swim lessons and coached stroke clinics at the Butterfield Park District.
