Which class should my athlete register for?
Fundamental I
- No experience. This is great for beginners!
- Class will learn basic skills and terminology we use for floor tumbling, etc.
- Common class for Novice cheer team members
Fundamental II
- Beginners above age 7
- Student has some prior experience and can effectively identify common basic tumbling terms
- Students enrolling in this class need to have mastered the following skills: rolls, cartwheel, round off, bridge
- Common class for prep cheer team members
Intermediate
- This class focuses on upper level basics and perfecting skills for walkovers and connected floor skills
- Learning to tumble to counts and in synch
- Enroll in this class if you have mastered: Straight arm back roll, Handstand, Cartwheel, Round off & hurdles
- Beginners ages 11 and up may join this class!
Walkovers
- This class focuses on front & back walkovers, specific walkover technique, and flexibility
- Introduces handsprings
- Common class for level 1 and 2 cheerleaders
- Common class for dancers
Handsprings
- Students need to have mastered walkovers OR kickover and have advanced basic tumbling skills
- Common class for level 2-3 cheerleaders
- Common class for school cheerleaders
