December 19th - Deadline to back out is 5:00 PM - Email Kentucky Swimming and your Group Coach.

December 22nd - Entries will be posted to the Team Kentucky Website

 

Hotel

Indiana Swimming has reserved hotel blocks in downtown Indianapolis for Mid States LSC Teams and families. CLICK HERE To access the online reservation information.

 

There are no rooms blocked for KY Swimming.

Parents must make hotel arrangements on their own.

Before making hotel reservations, check the cancelation policy for the hotel you choose.

Indianapolis Marriott Place: Indy Marriott room block extended until December 27th

The Courtyard, SpringHill and Fairfield extended the cut-off date until January 2nd

TRU by Hilton extended the cut-off date until December 28th

Hyatt Place Downtown: extended the cut-off date until December 19th

TEAM & INDIVIDUAL PICTURES 

ProSwim Visuals will photograph all LSCs. Each athlete will have two photographs made, one posed for digital composite into a group LSC team picture and one posed as a commemorative individual LSC team portrait.

ACTION PICTURES

ProSwim Visuals also will be providing action photography BY RESERVATION ONLY on a first- come, first-served basis throughout the competition. Reservations are $30 for two heats of photographic coverage with additional heats available by request.

APPLICATION TO OFFICIATE 

Applicants must be a member of USA Swimming and an LSC certified official.

Assigned positions deadline is December 27, 2022. Applications for non-specific deck positions will be accepted any time. All officials are encouraged to volunteer. TIMERS & Free admission

Volunteer timers will receive complimentary admission to the meet and complimentary meals during the sessions in which they are timing. Please email your availability to time to Tony Young at [email protected].

Spectator Fee

Admission for spectator seating will be $10.00 each day (children 8&U free).

For spectator convenience and savings, two-day passes will be sold on Saturday for $15. Seating areas on both sides of the Natatorium will be open for the convenience of spectators. Kentucky swimmers and fans will be on the Central West Bleachers.

 

Spectator Parking

$7.00 for families in the Natatorium Sports Garage (1 day fee.  In & Out Privileges apply).

You’re not required to park here, but it’s the most convenient option.

 

Friday January 6th

6:00-6:30 PM

Check in and pick up team swag, West end (Opposite side from the parking garage)

Everyone will go upstairs first, then swimmers will go downstairs to warm up

We will need six volunteers to help hand things out, two from each age group

6:30-7:30 PM

Team warm up

You do not need to bring your equipment bag

NO CLUB, SCHOOL, OR ANY OTHER LOGOS.  Generic or Kentucky Swimming only.

 

7:30-8:00 PM

Pick team captains

Pick athlete rep on meet jury

Pick team flag carrier

Decide what shirt we’re going to wear for team pictures and parade

Practice team cheer

 

Saturday January 7th

Bring food and drinks, enough to carry anyone over for the entire day.

 

8:15 AM - Team Meeting and Check-In WEST CONCOURSE upstairs (Opposite the parking garage)

      Pick up swag and credentials if you couldn’t pick up Friday.  Will need a parent to help.

 

  9:00 AM - Team Pictures followed immediately by meet and greet with U.S. Olympian, Drew Kibler*.

10:00 AM - Warm Up

11:30 AM - Opening Ceremony

11:45 AM - Meet Start

*An autograph signing session with Drew will be available starting at 11:45am at a table on the pool deck.

 

Sunday January 8th

Bring food and drinks, enough to carry anyone over for the entire day.

7:00 AM - Team Meeting and Check in. Pick up swag and credentials if you didn’t swim on Saturday.  West end.
