Thanks for a great weekend at CCSC and St. Martins! Our coaches couldn’t wait to share results with each other and tell about all the great swims! Please take a minute to read through the following announcements.  

Practice schedule/changes this week and next – Please be aware starting this Friday!

Practice observation protocol -  

All swim practices are open and observable by parents per USA Swimming rules. Our coaches are noticing on more than a few occasions parents communicating with athletes during practice from the patio. Communication in practice sessions needs to be reserved for the coach and athlete for 1) to preserve the teaching and learning environment, and 2) help the athlete meet only 1 person’s (the coach) expectations, and 3) utilize the coach as their best resource when they have questions. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to speak to and ask the coach questions after practice with any questions or concerns. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter! 

December meets – Let's try to replicate our participation from this past weekend! Please consider signing up soon!  

10&Unders – Saturday, Dec 2 at Newman – 1-session meet; 11am warm-up, Noon start. Every 10&U swimmer is encouraged to attend!  

11&Overs – Fri-Sun, Dec 15-17 at Sunkist in Flowood/Jackson, MS. Friday night, Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions. I’d encourage every 11&O to attend at least 1 day as this is an optimum time of the year to see some good improvements. Sorry, due to the format we cannot have younger siblings (10&U’s) compete in this meet.  See previous email for more info.
