  • May 10 – May Flowers Invite @ Ochsner – All competitive groups expected to attend 

We are hosting this meet, and will need our parents to serve in several volunteer capacities. It’s my goal to host 2x1-day meets/year, and for such ventures we will need parents to know how to fill needed positions and help teach others how to do so. Our booster club will help facilitate this.  

Registration deadline is Tuesday, Apr 30 

 

  • May 17 –19 @ Crawfish – Leopards, Tigers, Makos, Blue 

Reg deadline is Tuesday, April 30 

 

  • June 2 – Sunday only at LSU – Reefs, Bulls, any 11&O NOT attending the Pensacola meet 

Reg deadline is Tuesday, May 14

 

  • June 7-9 @ Pensacola/UWF -  

I do want to get out of the NOLA/BR/Biloxi areas on occasion, even though it does add travel. A meet a few hours away in a new market does provide some new challenges for athletes, as well as some team bonding, which is good for athletes and families. Currently, we’re adding an occasional meet outside of the NOLA/BR/Biloxi markets as rehearsal for when we need to travel, possibly for an upcoming championship meet.  

 

While we did cancel attendance to this meet a year ago, and have previously changed the schedule for lack of attendance, I do have every intention of attending this meet to progress our club forward.  

 

Hotel rooms must be made by May 1 if you would like to stay at our team hotel - that’s our internal deadline in the event we do have to pull out of the meet, but I don’t anticipate this happening. Hard deadline is later so there is some cushion for cancelation if need be.

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their weekend to swim in the Crawfish meet. Our coaches were very pleased with the results and the athletes & families grasping the developmental process as we prepare for the end of LC season.
