Sharks Welcome Emma Daw to Coaching Staff!

Emma Daw is starting her first season with Elmwood Sharks after moving here from Las Vegas, NV. She has previously held coaching positions with Sandpipers of Nevada, along with Mt. Vernon Country Club and J and M Swim in Alexandria, Virginia. Coach Emma joins the Sharks highly recommended from her previous teams, and brings a strong knowledge of fundamental swimming, preparing athletes for future success. 

 

Emma will be leading the Threshers and Reefs groups this summer, and working some with Bulls in Dryland. 

 

Coach Emma swam competitively for Bridgewater College (VA), where she earned her Bachelors degree in Health and Exercise science andcompleted her doctorate in occupational therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022. She is employed as an occupational therapist with the Ochsner Health System. In her spare time, she  enjoys outdoor adventures, trying new restaurants, traveling, and caring for her plant babies.
