Thank you for your patience as we get the season off and rolling. Practice are going fantastic so far and the near perfect practice attendance has made practices a lot more fun! Our coaches are very excited about the season outlook and the progress that can be made this year and future years.

 

Please read through the following announcements –

 

Registration – If you have not already, please complete your registration packet for this year. Please submit through email or hand-deliver to Beau by Friday, Sept 6.

 

Meet schedule – Our first meet is on Friday, Sept 20. Commitments are due by Sept 10. Parents must log in and commit their swimmer to each meet. This will be a great meet for our new and returning athletes, and we’re fortunate to be able to host meets here at OFC.

 

Equipment – Please ensure your swimmers has all equipment needed. Purchasing through swimoutlet.com, our team vendor, helps bring funds back to our team. Please try to purchase equipment through here first.

 

Practice viewing/Deck access – All practices are open and observable by parents, as they should be. Parents are welcome to watch and observe from each of the wooden patios. Couple of friendly reminders:

  1. Please refrain from coming on the pool deck (between the two patios)
  2. Please refrain from communicating with your swimmer during the practice- communication needs to be between the coach and athlete, and the swimmer cannot be answering to two different adults.
  3. Approach the coach after practice if you have any questions or you’d like to chat – This is recommended at least once/week even if it’s just to say hi.

 

Billing/Finances – Monthly dues are drafted on the 19th of each month. Any swim meet entry fees are drafted between the 20th and 25th. Please let me know of any issues that need taken care of.
