Dear NPAC Parents,

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the volunteers who helped make “A” and “B” champs so successful, we could not have done it without you. Thank you to all the coaches who helped the swimmers on Saturday and Sunday to have amazing champs’ experiences.  Finally, congrats to ALL the swimmers who participated in champs this weekend! You all looked fantastic and had amazing swims!

This week's news 01/28/24-02/03/24:

  1. Practice information for the coming week:
    1. We are unsure about practice for this week, no definite information has been given to us.  We have been informed that we cannot expect to be back at the high school pool until Wednesday.  As of right now, we have not heard back from Wissahickon or the Indian Valley YMCA about using their facilities on Monday and Tuesday. When we receive any information, we will share it with you all as soon as possible.

2.     US Meet Information:

                                               i.     Arrival time- 2:45 pm

                                             ii.     Warm-ups- 3:00 pm

                                           iii.     Meet start time- 3:45 pm

  1. See the email sent by Julie Haas on Friday, 1/26 for information on registering for the US champs meets in March. 
  2. Attached to this email are the 10 and Under Champs entries. Please review and contact Julie Haas with any questions ([email protected]). 
  3. Last call for KA Penguin Plunge and KA Mini Meet! Be in touch with Julie Haas by tomorrow night with scratches, additions, or changes. 
  4. US Job Requirements
    1. Valentines Sprint and Valentines Mini Meet

                                               i.     Please be sure to sign up to volunteer at the meet your child is swimming in, ONLY if your child is swimming at the meet.  This is not a team-wide volunteering requirement.

3. US 10 and Under Champs Meets

This meet is a required volunteering meet for everyone, including high school only families.  Families with swimmers attending the meet are required to volunteer for 2 positions.

  2. Goal Sheets
    1. We understand that last week was not a normal week.  If you still have a goal sheet you would like to turn in, please had it to a coach or board member by Wednesday, January 31st, 2024.
  3. NPAC Super Bowl Block Pool
    1. Please join us in the Super Bowl fun! Buy as many blocks as you like for $20 a block- see attached flyer and please share on social media.  The more people that participate, the better it is for the club.
      1. Win up to $1000 in prizes
      2. The club earns $1000
      3. Great fun with NPAC friends & family
  4. End of the Year Banquet- Save the date!
    1. March 1st, 7-9pm at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1000W Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446
      1. We are going to have a sign up for desserts and beverages.  We will not be providing pizza so please make sure to fill your swimmer’s belly before they arrive.
