Our Mission:  Maryland Swimming provides opportunities for athletes to participate in competitive swimming, reach their full potential, and develop skills for life-long success.

REQUIRED MEET STAFF

To host a sanctioned meet in Maryland Swimming, host clubs must have the following meet staff currently registered as a USA Swimming Member in good standing:

  • MDSI Certified Meet Director

  • MDSI Certified Meet Entry Coordinator

  • USA Swimming Registered Operational Risk Director

  • USA Swimming Certified Referee named as Meet Referee

  • USA Swimming Certified Starter

  • USA Swimming Certified Administrative Referee or Administrative Official

  • USA Swimming Certified Stroke and Turn Officials (2)

Additionally, each meet should have the following volunteers present at the meet:

  • Minimum of two (2) Meet Marshals per session, with at least one (1) of each gender each session
