MDSI CLUB NATIONAL MEET REIMBURSEMENT
General Information
Clubs and Officials receive reimbursement of non-athlete participation and travel expenses for national meets.
Reimbursable expenses include airfare, lodging, car rental, mileage at the federal rate for use of a personal vehicle, parking and entry fees.
Reimbursable limits
Futures, Spring Cup & Pro Series - Up to $1000 per Coach for every 5 participating Athletes, and per invited Official. Up to $500 for 1 Male and 1 Female Chaperone each for team travel only.
Junior Nationals, Nationals, Open Water Nationals and Para Nationals - Up to $1500 per Coach for every 5 participating Athletes, and per invited Official. Up to $750 for 1 Male and 1 Female Chaperone each for team travel only.
Requirements / Restrictions
Athletes must achieve the meet qualifying time and participate in the meet.
Athletes and Para Athletes must be a current USA Swimming Athlete Member in good standing registered with MDSI.
Athletes 18 and older must have participated in at least 3 events in 3 MDSI Sanctioned Meets in the 12 months prior to the meet.
Coaches must be 18 or older, be a current USA Swimming member in good standing, and attend the competition with one or more athletes.
Coach travel expenses are not eligible for reimbursement for Unattached athletes or athletes 19 years of age or older.
Officials must be invited to work the meet.
Chaperone must be a USAS Member in good standing.
Lodging expenses are eligible for reimbursement if the meet venue is further than 75 miles from the residence of the coach and official.
Receipts must be provided for any reimbursement.
Reimbursements for Coach expenses shall be made payable to the club.
Reimbursements for Officials are made payable to the Official.

30 days following the meet (may be waived by the MDSI Office)
