MDSI CLUB SWIM CAMP REIMBURSEMENT

Description

Clubs and Coaches receive reimbursement for athlete and non-athlete travel expenses for the camps listed below ​

Reimbursement includes airfare, lodging, car rental, mileage at the federal rate for use of a personal vehicle, parking and entry fees

National Diversity Camp

USA Swimming covers all Athlete expenses

USA Swimming reimburses up to $200 for Coach travel expenses

Maryland Swimming reimburses up to $400 for Coach travel expenses

National Select Camp

USA Swimming reimburses up to $200 for Athlete expenses

USA Swimming reimburses up to $200 for Coach travel expenses

Maryland Swimming reimburses travel expenses up to $400 per Athlete and per Coach

Zone Select & Regional Diversity Camps

Maryland Swimming reimburses travel expenses up to $400 per Athlete and per Coach

Requirements / Restrictions

Athlete must be a USAS Member in good standing, registered with MDSI and be invited to participate in one of the camps listed above

Coaches must be 18 or older, be a current USA Swimming member in good standing, and attend the camp

Coach travel expenses are not eligible for reimbursement for Unattached athletes or athletes 19 years of age or older.

Lodging expenses are eligible for reimbursement if the camp venue is further than 75 miles from the residence of the coach and athlete

Receipts must be provided for any reimbursement

Reimbursements are made payable to the Club

Submission Period

30 days following the camp (may be waived by the MDSI Office)

Club must submit the Club Swim Camp Reimbursement Form

Athletes / Parents may NOT submit form

Budget

Paid from current budget period (September 1 - August 31)
