Head Coach, Mark Winter, has been coaching swimming since 1987. He has been with the Sturgeons since 2001. Mark is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. Mark has coached an Olympic Trial Qualifier, Junior National Qualifiers, Sectional Swimmers and several State Champions.
Head Coach, Bob Jenrow, has been coaching since 1977. He joined the Sturgeons in 2001. Bob has coached a number of USA swim clubs and High School teams and has numerous coaching awards including ‘Coach of the Year’ in 1993 along with 5 State Championships. His youth team was the Clarenceville Swim Club and he placed 4th in MI High School Championships. Bob graduated from Oakland University and was a 7-time All-American and All-Conference swimmer.
Cammy is a graduate of Oakland University. She has been teaching and coaching young swimmers since high school. Cammy has also had 22 years of being a swim parent. Many early mornings, long meets, long drives, frustration and pride.
Coach Nick joined the Novi Sturgeons coaching staff in 2023. He began swimming at the age of 5 and quickly developed a lifelong love for the sport. He is a graduate of Oakland University where he competed on the swim team and earned All-Conference honors. Through his 20+ years of competitive swimming, he gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of competitive swimming. Coach Nick brings both passion and perspective to every practice. With a strong background in technique and team leadership, he is committed to helping swimmers grow both in and out of the water.
Coach Amity joined the Novi Sturgeons as a coach in 2024. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan. She swam competitively from kindergarten through high school and has used her swimming skills in adulthood to teach/coach swimming, play waterpolo, and compete in several triathlons and adventure races. After teaching her three children to swim and taking her kids to/from swim meets for years, she is happy to have found a team and time in her day to coach outside of her family again.
