Welcome to the Alex Swim Club of Alexandria, MN. The Alexandria Swim Club is a competitive swim program working with athletes ages 7 through 21 promoting the sport of swimming. Coaches work with athletes on proper stroke mechanics and correct competitive fundamentals in a fun, positive atmosphere, allowing them to achieve their goals and reach their highest potential. Winter season runs from mid-October thru early-March with practice on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday's from 6:45-8:15 PM. Spring/Summer session runs from mid-April-July. Spring Practices run Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6-7PM (10&Under swimmers) and 7-8:15PM (remaining swimmers) for Elementary Swimmers and 7-8:30PM for JH/SR Swimmers. Summer Practices run Monday-Friday from 7:15-9:15 AM for the Jr/Sr high swimmers, and 9:15-10:30 AM for the younger swimmers. Dryland is also part of our summer practices for JH/SR swimmers on MWF. Over the course of each season there are opportunities for swimmers to attend meets to compete against swimmers of their same level of ability. These family events are a big part of our program as they provide swimmers with positive feedback on their hard work and allow families time to get to know each other. The Alexandria Swim Club is open to anyone, though the ability to swim the length of the pool is required. 2025-2026 Fall/Winter season is planned to start on Monday, October 6th. Registration information will be available beginning Wednesday, September 17th.
