Volunteering
The Chaska Figure Skating Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run by volunteers. We rely on volunteers to plan, support and carry out our club events, activities and club functions. Volunteers are essential to ensure our club runs smoothly and that our skaters and coaches are supported throughout the year. It is also a great way to get to know other club families!
Home Club & Aspire Members are required to volunteer their required hours or pay the buy-out fee each skating year. The number of required hours for each membership type and the Volunteer Policy can be found below.
Volunteer opportunites will be emailed out throughout the year. Generally, you will sign-up through sign-up genius. Some of the opportunities will include:
- staffing our club promo table during skate school
- volunteering at the ice show (many different opportunities)
- volunteering at the Star of the North Competition (many different opportunities)
- working at a booth at River City Days
- helping at the annual garage sale
- any many more!
