Novice, Swimmer of the Month – Francisco Fernandez

October’s Novice swimmer of the month for Novice is Francisco! Francisco has shown great improvement this month as well as being at every practice. We are so proud of all the hard work he has put in while being in the water! Great Job Francisco!

Age Group, Swimmers of the Month – Jaxson Sands

The Age Group swimmer of the month is Jaxson Sands.  Jaxson is new to the swim team.  He is very excited to learn new strokes and has taken his directions to heart.  He pushes himself every day at practice.  Jaxson swam at his first meet in October.  I am so proud of his work. At his first meet, Jaxson achieved a silver time in his 50 yard backstroke and is only 3 seconds away from a silver time in the 50 yard freestyle.  I am excited to see how this swim season will go for you.

Keep up the great work Jaxson!!!

Senior 1 Swimmer of the Month – William Hiniker

William started with Mantas Swim Club last spring.  Since that time, his improvement has been great!  William has a love for practice, and it shows when he competes.  This fall we started racing in practice and William started dropping PR’s (personal record’s) in everything he swam.  Then he transferred those PR’s to real competition and has dropped even more.  I enjoy William’s humor and his smile.  He’s a great teammate and a good leader.

Senior 2 Swimmer of the Month – Jack Swanson

Jack used to chase the big boys at practice and that gave him a drive to be better every single day. Now, everyone considers Jack one of the big boys on the team.  He leads, he races, and every set is a challenge to get better.  The transformation of Jack in practice shows in his ability to set goals on a set when he is at the front of the lane.  Jack is also dropping time like crazy this fall and I don’t expect those time drops to slow down.

Great Job Boys!
