Mantas Swim Club Upcoming Competition Registration Deadlines
Mantas Families,
Below is important information regarding 3 upcoming meets on our schedule.
1. Our next Block Party meet will be Friday, January 9 in Rochester MN. Registration is now open for this meet. Block party meets are great meets for younger swimmers who are learning to race. All Novice and Age Group swimmers are encouraged to compete. This block party meet includes events with distances of 100 yards and 200 yards for swimmers who may want to try those distances. The deadline for registration will be at the end of the day on Monday, January 5.
2. Mantas Coaches have decided to switch a meet location in our current schedule. Our hope is to make racing more convenient for more of our swimmers. We have taken the Rochester Presidents Day meet off our schedule and added the Winter Storm Warning meet on the same weekend. This meet is held at Century Middle School in Lakeville, MN. This is a fast pool and hopefully closer to home for many of our families. The meet is for swimmers with Bronze times and faster, so many more of our swimmers will be able to participate. It will be a great meet and included prelims/finals chances for our older swimmers. Registration is now open.
3. Registration is now open for the MN Bronze Championships, February 21-22. Mantas Swim Club is zoned to swim at the Northfield location for this meet. This will be the first meet in our championship season. Any swimmer who has times at or slower than the Bronze time standard may swim those events at this meet. Only events 200 yards and shorter will be raced. If you have a swimmer interested in this meet, please register them early. This is a courtesy to Mn Swimming in planning for how many sessions they need to hold and the number of swimmers to plan for.

Let me know what questions you have about these meets. More information will soon come out to those racing at the Foxjet Winter Classic January 9-11 at the University of MN.
