At Empire All-Stars our objective is for every athlete that comes to our progr
am to be taught, trained, and developed to become a better athlete, competitor, and person. Here, we
know how important it is to train & compete with core values in mind. Empire's core values are represe
nted by the whole fam including owners, staff, parents, and athletes:
- Integrity means choosing our behavior and actions with what we know to be excellent. Commit to being trustworthy and communicating the truth to the best of our knowledge.
- Teamwork means lifting our teammates and enabling them to perform better. True teamwork uses each member's unique strengths to achieve results that exceed the cumulative results they each could have individually accomplished. When team members complement each other, their potential is greater than the sum of the parts. Think 1+1+1 = 5!
- Coachability is the willingness to learn and the ability to change for the better. A coachable person does not hide from change or challenging communication, especially if they want to reach their goals. They willingly do the work to adapt. They are empowered to do hard things, even if uncomfortable or inconvenient.
- Personal Responsibility is being willing to answer for the outcomes of individual choices, behaviors, and actions. When we're personally accountable, we take ownership of situations involving ourselves. A responsible person finishes what they start and take responsibility for what happens – good or bad. They do not blame others if things go wrong. Instead, they do their best to make things right.
- Winning Attitude is a positive outlook and enthusiasm. It means doing what it takes and inspiring others to do the same. A winning attitude says, "Yes, I can!" and "Yes, I will"! We find the positive in every situation and have fun as a team.
