Part Time Gymnastics Coach and Substitute Coaches
Coach a variety of gymnastics teams in a positive, safe, educational and fun environment.
- Qualifications
Working knowledge and/or experience in at least one of the following areas (preferred, but not mandatory): Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheerleading, or Dance. - Willingness to learn additional areas of gymnastics.
- Demonstrated ability to teach the development of skills and proper technique.
- Passion for working with children of all ages and abilities.
- Ability to lift equipment and to spot children.
- Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with members, parents and students.
- Exercises mature judgment and sound decision-making.
- Requires current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Principle Job Activities
- Instructs class lessons as assigned in accordance with MAGA guidelines.
- Assists with preparation of lesson plans and routines for classes.
- Develops positive relationships with participants and provides motivational support and guidance.
- Follows all Sapphire emergency and safety procedures.
- Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.
- Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment.
- Upholds all Sapphire policies, procedures, standards and code of conduct.
- Fulfills the mission of Sapphire Gymnastics
