Day 2 of our first "away" meet at TVSC is underway and we've had some really impressive swims across the board. Please take a look at our upcoming meet calendar for updates and begin sending in your commitment or scratches if you have not done so.

1) WEEKLY SCHEDULE - 10/11-10/26

  • Beginner & Beginner Plus has been moved to Sachem North on Wednesday 10/13 due to a Varsity swim meet at East that evening. Please note this on your calendars and coordinate with any parents or caretakers that may be picking up/dropping off your swimmers that day.
  • Developmental, Novice, Juniors, and Seniors are swimming at the Holtsville YMCA tomorrow, Monday 10/11, due to school closures for the holiday. Seniors - please note the early practice time slot.

2) Swim Meets

  • SSC Fall Face Off - 10/17 - Entries have been submitted as final. No additional scratches or entries are being accepted at this time.
  • LIE Fall Classic - 11/05-11/07 - Registration for this event has been extended to 10/10/21 at 9:00pm. Please submit your commitment to this event if you'd like to participate ASAP.
  • SSC Turkey Trot - 11/13 - Events for this meet session have been posted. Please go to the event and submit your entries and/or scratches ASAP.
  • SSC Turkey Trot DISTANCE Meet - 11/19 - Events for this meet session have been posted. Please go to the event and submit your entries ASAP. Please note that this event is typically for the older swimmers. Developmental and Novice will likely not be accepted into this meet without approval from their group coaches.

3) Fitter and Faster Stroke Clinic - We are very excited that the launch of our first camp together has been so well received. Below is the important camp information. Please sign up quickly if you have not already done so!!

5) General Membership Meeting - 10/16/21

  • Our General membership meeting has been confirmed for 10/16. We will be meeting at Sachem North in the Auditorium at 9-11am. A meeting agenda will follow mid-week.

6) TYR Tech Suit Sizing Night - 10/19/21 - All 13+ Swimmers, our TYR Tech Suit Sizing Night is now in the books. Sarah, our TYR rep will be at Sachem East on October 19th between 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm to size any swimmers interested in purchasing a TYR Tech Suit. Tech suit sizing will take place in the bleachers at Sachem East.

Thanks all for another awesome week. Let's keep the attendance high and the effort strong these next few weeks as it will be a crucial period for training as our championship season nears! Meet attendance will be some of the best training that you can get. I highly encourage all to get registered for as many meet sessions as you can this coming month.
