Weekly Update 06/20 - 06/26
Hello Team,
I hope that everyone enjoyed their nice morning swim yesterday in this beautiful weather. The Holtsville Pool heater has been repaired and is holding temperatures consistently above 80 degrees!
With this great news and with most of our final exams behind us, we hope to see a huge turnout at practices this week as we gear up for our Team Travel Meet next weekend!
We may be adding in a Saturday Morning practice (06/25) option for those not attending the travel meet this coming Saturday, please stand by for more information on that.
Also - big things are happening in the swimming world right now as last night marked Day 1 of the FINA World Swimming Championships in Budapest, Hungary. You can watch the event on Peacock and on the Olympic Channel. SwimSwam will be posting live results and meet links. Tune in to watch the best in the world race. Broken records are almost a guarantee as this meet is every bit as competitive as the Olympics!

- There will be a MANDATORY 8:45am Parent Meeting at Drop Off Location (Island 16) on Friday 06/24 for all attending swim families.
- This meet will have dress-up themes for each day. All members are invited and encouraged to participate in these daily themes. The meet themes will include Pirates, Patriotic, and Neon!

We will share things with the group like cut times, weekly updates, reminders, and swimming content to help keep everyone up to date and expand on our communications as a program. Many athletes already have this app set up for their school assignments! Swimmers under 17 must have parental supervision when communicating directly to a class owner.

Save the Date: End of Season Team Party/Awards Dinner
We will be returning to normal this year with an end-of-the-season team party at the Meadow Club in Port Jefferson Station on August 9th. Please save the date. The party will be held between 6:00pm and 11:00pm. More information will be coming on this event in the next few weeks
