Weekly Update 07/04 - 07/10
Hello Team,
We had a great week of training! I am excited to have all of our Competitive groups training in one pool.
As we move into this next week, please take a moment to review the upcoming events on the Calendar. For anyone not swimming in RAC, please consider registering for the Open Water event this Friday! If you are swimming in the LIE meet this weekend, you will be able to do both events.
We are hosting a last chance Time Trial on 07/12 for anyone interested. All entries are by email or Remind message Only and must be sent to Coach Kyle by 07/06. Any entries past that point will not be accepted.
Pelase take a moment to review the updated meet schedule below and this week’s practice schedule, which has several changes to it!

Practice Schedule 07/04 - 07/10 (UPDATED)
Hello Team,
With the many events on the horizon and deadlines coming up, I would like to take a moment to remind all of you of these opportunities and updates. Please refer to the list of meets below and please be reminded that deadlines, scratches, commitments, etc are all coming up quickly.
RAC swimmers - Please standby for a separate email with additional information about our travels, and please see the Remind Class Information below for communications relevant to this upcoming travel meet.
All SSC Swimmers are invited and encouraged to register for our upcoming Open Water Race if you have not done so already!
All SSC Swimmers looking for a last chance opportunity to qualify for the Junior Olympics, please submit your event resuests ASAP. They are due tomorrow, July 6th!

Group Reminds
All parents and swimmers are encouraged to join your respective group remind class. We will share things with the group like cut times, weekly updates, reminders, and swimming content to help keep everyone up to date and expand on our communications as a program. Many athletes already have this app set up for their school assignments! Swimmers under 17 must have parental supervision when communicating directly to a class owner.

Save the Date: End of Season Team Party/Awards Dinner
We will be returning to normal this year with an end-of-the-season team party at the Meadow Club in Port Jefferson Station on August 9th . Please save the date. The party will be held between 6:00pm and 11:00pm. More information will be coming on this event in the next few weeks
TYR - Male Swimming Models Requested! (8-12 Years Old Only)
Our friends at TYR have an exciting opportunity to for our SSC Members. TYR is currently looking for boy's models that can come into the Farmingdale office for sessions no longer than an hour to try new and existing TYR products.
Email Coach Kyle for the informational sheet and contact information for anyone interested in becoming a TYR Swim Model.
The Deep End - Upcoming Promotion
Thanks to all who participated in our team fundraiser and promotion with The Deep End Clothing Company. We are looking forward to running another sale with our friends at The Deep End later this year.
