SSC Pre Season Update #2 08/21 - 08/28
Hello Team,
Thank you and welcome to all who came out for an awesome SSC Open House!
We are excited to have so many new faces in our program and to see SSC growing so rapidly!
Shout out to all the SSC Swimmers who showed up this past weekend for our H.E.A.T Sports clinics! We will be looking to add more opportunities like these in the future so stand by for more updates!
Another shout out to the Ciardullo Family for hosting another awesome SSC 13+ Pool Party and providing our athletes with a great opportunity.
Seniors and Juniors will return to the pool this week with some pre-season training. Please take a moment to review this week’s upcoming practice schedule and note that Beginners, Beginners Plus, Developmental, and Novice will not start until our season officially opens!

Dear SSC Beginner and Beginner Plus Parents,
Thanks again to all of our newcomers who came out to our Open House. Thanks to all of our current members who are returning for more and who recommended our program to family and friends! If you have not yet registered for the new season, please do so ASAP as spaces are filling up!
We thank you all again for your patience as we have been working on expanding our programs and in doing so, coordinating with organizations to bring you all the best possible schedules and opportunities here at SSC. That being said, the practice schedules listed below are tentative and will be reissued once final confirmations have been given to us.

The pricing for each program is as follows:

Beginner - $365 + $25 admin fee

Beginner Plus - $430 + $25 admin fee

2 - Summer Season Open House: Tryouts for NEW members will be held TONIGHT on 08/17/22 at The Holtsville Ecology Center Pool from 6:15 - 8:00pm. If you have younger siblings, cousins, friends, etc interested in joining, please spread the word and have them come down for a tryout. If you are unable to make the Open House, please email Coach Kyle at [email protected] to arrange a separate tryout time. If you are a returning member, you do not need to attend.
3- Move Ups: Move-up emails have been started but are not yet completed. Please standby for move-up information. If you have not yet received a move-up email, please feel free to register for the group that you were in previously as we can manually adjust the grouping in our system pending any possible move-ups. All Move Up Emails will come directly via Coach Kyle & Coach Kim. If your Swimmer is moving up from Beginner to Beginner Plus, you will be notified directly prior to the start of the new season. If your athlete is moving up from Beginner Plus to Developmental, you will be notified directly before the start of the new season. If there are any issues regarding a move-up or any confusion regarding parent duties in moving up from BG+ to Developmental, please feel free to contact Coach Kyle to ask questions! We are here to help and make these transitions as smooth as possible. If you do not receive a move-up email, please register for the same group that you were already assigned. If you accidentally register for the incorrect group or register before receiving a move-up email, we will manually edit your account to accommodate the change.
Group Reminds
All parents and swimmers are encouraged to join your respective group remind class. We will share things with the group like cut times, weekly updates, reminders, and swimming content to help keep everyone up to date and expand on our communications as a program. Many athletes already have this app set up for their school assignments! Swimmers under 17 must have parental supervision when communicating directly to a class owner.
