NEWS UPDATE: 03/30/2023
SSC Swimmers - Please be advised that we have received further confirmation from the Sachem CSD that the pool at Sachem North has been cleaned, water quality has been tested, and all is good to go for tonight. There will be no changes to tonight's practice schedule. Thank you all for your continued patience as the facilities personnel have continued to work on this issue. We are relying on the School District for these updates and are subject to their advisories.
Due to the Developmental practice cancellation on Monday, 03/27, we will be adding in another practice option this Saturday, 04/01 at Sachem East from 11:00am - 12:00pm!. Below is the updated practice calendar for your convenience.

Weekly Message From Head Coach Kyle
Hello SSC Parents & Swimmers,
Greetings from Ithaca, NY! For those of you who do not know, I am upstate traveling and competing with our SSC Sectionals Team! This is an exciting meet with lots of fast swimming! Congratulations to our qualifiers and best of luck tonight to our Finalists, Fedor Mironov & Brooke Orner as well as our 200 Freestyle Relay Quartet of Andraya Giagios, Brooke Pfisterer, Brooke Orner, and Lily Calandra! Best of luck as well to the huge SSC Team competing at the 2023 Bronze Championship as well! I am blown away by the performances this weekend down at Bronze and so excited to start gearing up with an even larger Counties Team! Swim fast!!!
I will return to practices on Monday 03/27 and will be departing for the 2023 Eastern Zones Championship meet on Tuesday 03/28, returning on 04/02. If you need to reach me for any reason, please have patience in my response or contact the SSC Board of Directors at [email protected]! Please also remember that 04/04 will be our Counties Last Chance Quaifying Time Trial for anyone who would like another opportunity to qualify for the 2023 County Championship meet on 04/22 - 04/23!
Thank you again to all of our members for continuing to work with our practice schedule this week as our Sachem North Facility endured some unforeseen issues and repairs. We have been given the go-ahead to run practices back at Sachem North this week. In the event that the pool experiences any issues, please make sure to check your emails and reminds each day this week for potential changes or updates!

3-Fitter & Faster Stroke Clinic: Butterfly & Breaststroke

We have some exciting news to share as we head into the weekend. We will be welcoming back Fitter and Faster for a Fast Butterfly & Breaststroke Swim Camp on April 29 & 30 being led by 2x Big Ten Champion Drew Loy!
For those who don't know much about Drew he is a decorated swimmer who swam for Ohio State University. He has achieved several notable accolades throughout his career, including being named a CSCAA First Team All-American and earning First Team All-Big Ten honors in 2020 as well as being an Olympic Trials qualifier. In addition to his athletic achievements, Loy has also excelled academically, receiving multiple Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten honors

Many of you have reached out to me interested in learning more about Junior Lifeguarding Training and Competition Opportunities.
