Weekly Message From Head Coach Kyle
Hello Team!
What a weekend! I am so so proud of our awesome team and our unbelievable athletes. This weekend at Counties we took 4th place overall, a huge move up the ranks from last year. Shout out to Amber Naude on earning High Point for the 11-12 Girls Age group!
We had multiple Team Records, Fedor Mironov in the 100 Fly, Brooke Orner in the 100 Fly and 100 Free, and Amber Naude in the 100 Free! Additionally, our 10& Under Girls 200 Freestyle Relay broke the team record!
Things are looking so promising here at SSC and I couldn’t be more proud to do what I do and share this success with this amazing family.
Shout out to our Graduating Seniors as well. Thank you for coming down tonight for a Senior Walk! You all deserve it!
With Counties behind us, it is time to take a moment to reflect on another amazing Short Course Yard season and focus on the Long Course Meters Season ahead of us. As we transition from SCY to LCM, expect to see schedule changes, a new meet schedule and entry procedure, as well as a quicker LCM season. I wanted to take this opportunity to work toward tightening up communications and giving you, the members, the best possible experience from end to end, as always!
We are eliminating the SSC Meet Chart from weekly communications moving forward. Instead, all meet information will be available directly on our website and we will link it right here at the top of our weekly updates. Please familiarize yourself with the SSC Meet Calendar and make sure to regularly check in and manage your individual accounts there relative to meet stuff.
This week’s update will be short and I will reissue some important information throughout the week.
Again, congratulations to our awesome athletes. You guys rock! Get some rest and enjoy the day off tomorrow.
