Weekly Message From Head Coach Kyle
SSC Swimmers & Parents,
The 2022-2023 season has finally come to an end! It was an amazing year and a unique one for me to be finishing things up down here in St Petersburg Florida at the ISCA Summer Senior Blast Championship! I certainly missed our crew but I am so proud of the amazing accomplishments our team of 6 athletes achieved here in Florida! 1 new team record and tons of PBs were set! We will be concluding this year with a few encore performances by Brooke Orner who is heading to the 2023 Summer Zones meet this week and on August 1st, we will be holding our Summer Beginner and Beginner Plus Intersquad meet at Sachem East. Click here to view the news that went out on this recently. Best of luck to the Beginner and Plus Athletes competing in what is many of their first meets, and good luck to our Time Trial Athletes competing as well!
Lastly, I wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing SSC Staff of Coaches and Board members who have poured so much of their time into this program this past season and especially to the athletes who have worked hard day in and day out, trusting the process, and growing with us along the way. I am so proud of this program and excited for another season to build on top of the foundation we have been setting these past two seasons together. Things around here are always moving forward and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this incredible program and family.

SSC OPEN HOUSE
There will be a Sachem Swim Club Open House for all new and interested athletes on August 16th at the Holtsville Ecology Center Pool from 6:15 pm - 8:00 pm. See the below flier with registration QR code and please share it with all of your friends, family, and neighbors!!!
An email recently went out regarding automatic registration for the next season (September 2023- August 2024). Please look for it and let us know if you have any questions. Please keep in mind, choosing to register for the 23-24 season late can be OK but will result in a significant loss of opportunity and you will still be responsible for the full year’s tuition. If you have questions about this or if you have an athlete doing a Fall School Sport, please contact me ASAP to discuss and plan for your next season!
