Weekly Message From Head Coach Kyle

 

SSC Swimmers & Parents,

 

Thanks to all of our parent workers, our Board of Directors, and our competitors for helping to put on another amazing show this year at the SSC TYR September Sprint Meet. I can’t remember a more impressive set of results from our athletes at this meet and it is telling about the hard work and progress we are making here at SSC! We have countless best times across the board and I was so impressed with our squad!

 

As always, I have updated the top times reports at the bottom of this email for you all to view. If you notice any discrepancies, please feel free to notify me and we will look into them.

 

There is A LOT going on this week, so please read everything in this email CAREFULLY!!!!

Next up on the calendar is the ASCSC Relay Carnival!!!! This is a MANDATORY MEET for Qualifiers. We will be issuing some information on this front in the coming days as we are currently working on the rosters. We will require all qualifiers to RSVP and fully commit to the meet. Back-up swimmer or relay swimmer, you MUST attend this meet. If you do not qualify, that is OK, you will not be required to attend but are welcome to cheer on your teammates from the stands! We will publish the final roster ASAP so please mark your calendars and be on the lookout for a follow-up meet email with links to RSVP!

TYR Sizing Night - Tech Suits, Goggles, Caps, Gear & Team T-Shirt Distribution

Date: Thursday, September 28th

Time: 5:00 - 8:00 pm

Location: Sachem East - Cafe B

Note: This Tech Suit Sizing night is open to ALL SSC Swimmers in Competitive or Non-Competitive groups. Multiple items will be for sale and we will be distributing the SSC 23-24 Season Team Shirts! Finally! Please make an effort to come down and grab your shirts and get fitted for a tech suit!

 

SSC Seniors/Advanced Swimmers - Please take note that this week we will be hosting a MANDATORY meeting for Senior and Advanced Swimmers from 5:30 - 6:00 pm at Sachem North BEFORE practice and in the bleachers on Wednesday 09/27. The purpose of this meeting is to notify athletes of the short and long-term group goals, guidelines, and expectations. Parents are not required to be here, but are encouraged to be in attendance!
