2023 ASCSC Relay Carnival Team Championship Meet

If you qualify for this meet it is mandatory to attend. Failure to commit and/or failure to attend will result in the loss of competitive opportunity for your teammates and you will incur splash fees for the entirety of the missed event(s).

The ASCSC Relay Carnival is a unique meet where all competitive USA Swimming teams located in Suffolk County, NY go head to head in a scored, competitive relay-based meet. The events are not all typical events that would be present in a USA or World Aquatics competition and are not recorded as “legal” events in many cases. Each team in this meet is required to fill 4 different relays based on each stroke and that consists of 4 members each relay of the same gender and in the same age group (10&U, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18). The fastest possible conglomerate of 50 swimmers in each relay is selected to fill the roster. All athletes can only compete in 2 of these events.

Additionally, this meet has “special” relays which include the 8-person 200 Medley Relay, and the 8-person 400 freestyle relay. Each relay consists of the fastest individual male and female swimmer in their age group and is based on their assigned stroke is swum in a specific order.

Many athletes who are not selected for this meet could still break team and local records in events that don’t fall within a 50 or 25 yard distances, so if you are not selected, please keep in mind these parameters when thinking about the selection process for this meet!

I hope that this helps!
